The Scouting program was founded in the USA in February 1910 which led to February being Scout month and one Sunday in February being set aside as Scout Sunday. Our sponsor, Supplee Presbyterian Church will hold Scout Sunday on February 13. This will be an in-person service. We ask that as many Scouts join us that morning as possible. It allows the church members to see who we are and that their decision to sponsor us and allow us use of their facilities continues to be a great one. As we discussed on Monday, we would like to highlight our Scouts in the following ways.

(1) We need 4 ushers greet those coming to the service, hand out programs, and help with collections.
(2) We would like to have Scouts who play an instrument to pre-record a classical or religious musical piece of their choosing. I believe these will be played as members/visitors arrive and get seated.
(3) We would like 4 Scouts (more welcome) to sing Horse & Rider (a round). We will send you a recording of the song. You listen via earbuds or headphones and sing along while recording yourself. All of the videos will be merged together into one chorus.
(4) We need 6 Scouts to read an old testament reading in-person in the Greek Chorus style.

Parents, please help encourage your sons to participate. Scouts, please step up and join us! Let me know (scoutmaster@troop542.com) if you will help. We will have a rehearsal this Monday for the ushers (#1 above) and readers ($4 above). And we need to know if you will do #2 and/or #3 above so we can send more detailed instructions.
