The Boy Scouts of America was founded in February 1910, so February is observed as Scout month. Supplee Church, our sponsor, will observe Scout Sunday on February 14.

Troop 542 is a civic organization that uses the church building. We have a diverse membership and the church has no input to our program. In fact, very few of our Scouts attend Supplee.

Nevertheless, Scout Sunday provides us with the only opportunity we get each year to meet the folks who provide us with our meeting place. We need them to see our good side sometimes so they will continue to tolerate the impact we have on their facility.

This year, Scout Sunday will be held virtually.
