We attended the National Jamboree and know about the great the Summit activities including shooting sports, ziplines, canopy tours, whitewater rafting, mountain biking, BMX, kayaking, SCUBA, STEM and patch trading. The World Jamboree will be even better with 45,000 scouts from over 165 countries in attendance. The cost is $2500, including travel and there are only 8 spots left in the Jamboree Troop that includes 542 scouts. World Jamborees occur every four years. Because of age restrictions, Scouts get only one chance to attend a World Scout Jamboree. The last and only other time a World Jamboree was in the United States was in 1967. If you were born between July 22, 2001 and July 21, 2005, you are eligible to attend and meet Scouts from 169 different countries. So far, 57 Cradle of Liberty Council Scouts have signed up, but we have room for 15 more scouts in our council!

You will need to make a $250 deposit to register. If all payments are made on time, there is a $100 discount applied to the final payment. Campership applications are now online and those eligible can apply for up to 50% off the cost. The deadline for applying for camperships is July 31, 2018 so sign up today.
