2018 Baden Powell District Camporee

October 26, 2018 - October 28, 2018

$20

Welcome to the 2018 Baden Powell District Camporee Web Page!

Indiana Jones is in trouble, and we need the scouts of the
Baden Powell District to help find and save him!

As you work with Indiana Jones’s brothers, you will apply
your scout skills in order to save the day!

Why should you bring your patrols to the Camporee?
  • a weekend for friendship and Scouting
  • interpatrol competition in Scouting skills
  • an exciting theme woven into every activity and the Camporee grounds
  • clear and objective scoring
  • a schedule for each patrol made up of time blocks and a defined order of events
  • multiple patrols compete simultaneously (for every event); NO WAITING!
  • complete details of skills and events well before the camporee so your patrol can BE PREPARED!
  • cool awards for the winning patrol at each event
  • special awards for the overall Camporee winners!

Camping and Costs

Cost:  The camporee cost is $20 per Scout or Scouter attending (whether competing or not).  This cost includes:

  • camping fees for Hawk Mountain SR
  • a cool camporee patch
  • a souvenir camporee mug
  • lunch on Saturday
  • and really cool program materials and awards

Camping: The Fall Camporee has reserved all the campsites and cabins at  Hawk Mountain SR.  Camping sites will be assigned by the Camporee campmasters based on number of Troops attending and their size.

It is very important that you let us know your attendance so we can give you the right size campsite(s).

Note on Patrols:  Competition will be by patrols.  We encourage you to participate with your troop’s natural patrols, but any patrol makeup is fine.  Competition will be best if your patrols have at least 6 Scouts but no more than 10 Scouts each. Each patrol must have a name and is encouraged to enter the Patrol Flag Contest.

With 10 events and 5 patrols competing simultaneously we have capacity for 50 competing patrols. After that we wait-list.                Sign up as soon as you can!
