February brings the first camping trip of 2018 in cabins at Hawk Mountain Scout Reservation. Weather won’t be a problem, the cabins will keep us warm and dry.

First year Scouts may have the opportunity to pass their requirements for a five mile hike, and to identify signs of wild animals. They’ll also make up other Second Class requirements they may have missed.

The main event will be a Troop Carnival! Each patrol is working hard on their games for this event and it promises to be a fun time! Scouts will also have time for outdoor sports games and hiking.

We’ll leave at 7:00 PM on Friday, Feb. 23, and return on Sunday Feb. 25.

Payment of $35 is due by our February 12 meeting. If signed up after the deadline (if space is still available) a $10 additional late fee will be due.
