The Boy Scouts of America was founded in February 1910. To honor the founding, we will celebrate Scout Sunday at our sponsor, Supplee Church, on February 12. Troop 542 is a civic organization that uses the church building. We have a diverse membership, and the church has no input to our program. In fact, very few of our Scouts attend Supplee. Scout Sunday provides us with the only opportunity we get each year to meet the folks who provide us with our meeting place. We need them to see our good side sometimes so they will continue to tolerate the impact we have on their facility. If your conscience permits, please join us that morning. Come in full class A uniform and arrive at 9:15 so we can sit together.
