This May, we will be going to the Camp Ware at the Horseshoe Scout Reservation for a moviemaking competition. Patrols will develop their scripts during patrol corners and then come prepared to shoot and edit their movies.

This trip also marks a return to patrol cooking. Each patrol will identify two Scouts to do all of the food handling for the weekend (purchasing the food and preparing the meals). Food buyers can pick up a check from the treasurer at the regular Monday Troop Meeting before we leave, May 17, 2021, and should also pick up their patrol coolers before they leave so that they can properly store food perishables.

If you’re interested in attending, RSVP via Scoutbook and bring your payment to the May 10, 2021 Troop Meeting. The absolute cutoff is 7:45 PM on May 17, 2021.

Cost

The cost of the trip is $35. Please bring payment to the our in-person meeting at Supplee or send a check to our treasurer, Tom Rhodes.

Logistics

Friday Night:
6:15 PM – Food buyers arrive
6:30 PM – Scouts check-in at Supplee
7:00 PM – Scheduled departure for Camp Ware

Sunday Morning:
11:00 AM – Departure for home from Camp Ware

As with all current Scouting events, all Adults and Scouts are required to provide a COVID-19 Screening Questionnaire and have their temperature taken during check-in for the event.
