Troops 541 and 542 are honored to call Supplee Presbyterian home. On Sunday, February 9, Scouts from both troops along with their families gathered with church members to observe Scout Sunday during the 9:30 a.m. worship service.

Troop 541 Scoutmaster Jay Eibner served as worship assistant and four Scouts from Troop 542 served as ushers. Scouts from both troops sang three songs during the prelude to the service, then Troop 542 Senior Patrol Leader Michael Robinson led the Scouts in the recitation of the Scout oath. Supplee’s pastor, Dr. Don Hoagland, and Troop 542 Assistant Scoutmaster Dr. Arland Hotchkiss presented the Scouts BSA Celtic Cross award for service to youth to Steven Robinson and Louise Seyler. Patrick Fitzgerald and Michael Myers also earned the award but were not able to attend the service. George Harris, committee chair of Scouts BSA Troops 541 and 542, engaged the youth in the congregation with a lesson for young Christians centered on finding your way in life.
