After a few weeks spent developing plots and writing scripts, 36 Scouts in seven patrols filmed and edited short movies as part of the Troop’s annual movie-making competition.

The rain on Saturday, January 25 required the Scouts to be flexible as filming was moved indoors at Supplee Presbyterian, but it didn’t dampen their spirits.

The Shark patrol, which is made up of first-year Scouts, braved the elements and shot a few scenes outside as the rain formed a small river running down the driveway.

Each patrol was tasked with creating a film consistent with Scout values and received a score in five categories: screenplay, props and costumes, cinematography, editing, and acting. The patrol with the highest combined score will be revealed at the Troop’s awards banquet in March.
