On Friday, November 6, Troop 542 Scouts traveled to Rodney Scout Reservation in North East, MD, for an Olympics-style competition during the Troop’s final tent camping weekend of the fall. Six patrols competed in the tournament that included activities such as soccer, frisbee, and a tug of war. Each patrol was awarded points based on how well they performed in an event. The Eagle patrol earned the highest total of points and won the competition.
On Sunday morning, the Scouts woke early, cooked breakfast, and ended the camping adventure with an inter-faith service. Then, everyone packed up and headed home.
