Our April camping adventure brought us to one of the troop’s most familiar camping spots, Resica Falls Scout Reservation, where we had a blast doing shooting sports and enjoying the camp’s various activities. Some of the shooting sports that were on display include rifle and shotgun shooting, but also included a trip to the archery range where the scouts could refine and sharpen their bow and arrow skills. In their freetime, the scouts enjoyed playing games such as Ultimate Frisbee, as the younger scouts used the time in order to finish requirements in their
journey to being a First Class scout. The day was ended off with an evening campfire, where the patrols all enjoyed entertaining each other by performing skits. Sunday’s activities included an interfaith service after breakfast before departing for home. All of the scouts had a blast on the spring trip to Resica, and can’t wait to go again for summer camp in August!
