On November 17th to 19th, the Boy Scouts of Troop 542 went for an exciting and adventurous trip up to Broad Creek Scout Reservation. Every year, this infamous trip which is a favorite among many Scouts has each patrol put up to the task of creating a short film of their own choosing where they are the actors and are completely in control of the planning, filming, and editing process which every scout will have a part in.

After having a pancake breakfast on Saturday, the Scouts started filming using the scripts that they had been working on for the month before the trip. For most of the day, this was how most of the Scouts enjoyed their time while getting to know each other as well as learning many useful skills such as the operation of some computer software and some cameras that the patrols had brought along. Once all of the patrols were done with their films and the adults had fairly judged each movie, the Eagles won 1st place.
